Victory over Disability: Two Words about Erich Stegmann, Founder of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists of the World
Abstract
This article is about the German artist Erich Arnulf Stegmann (1912-1984), founder of the International Association of Mouth and Foot Painters of the World. Disabled almost from birth, Stegmann accepted his disability as a challenge and overcame it. Due to his artistic gifts, as well as his willpower, his magnanimity and his entrepreneurial spirit, he has been placed among the most important personalities of the 20th century.
