Abstract

 Labour migration is one the important feature of economic activities. This labour migration creates debates and discussions, because it arises many problems not only in local level but also global level. This migrational movements from one place to another throughout the world is ever happening socio-economic and political scenario. Unemployment and poverty in rural economy is the result of multi-dimensional factors. Alongside growth of population, factors like low rate of investment in agriculture, inequalities in the distribution of land and other productive assets, lack of credit facilities to poor are some of the features aggravating rural unemployment apart from these, the capital intensive technology used in agriculture replaces labour by the mechanization process.
