Abstract

The development of any nation depends on the health of its people. It is a fundamental factor which affects the quantity and quality of the population and their by their productivity. Even though Kerala has been acclaimed for the achievements in the human development indicators like health status, sex ratio, life expectancy etc; a close scrutiny to these broad indicators brings up more questions. This paper is to make a review of the emerging health issues in Kerala economy for efficient provisions and management of public health care delivery systems.
